See if you can handle 3 minuets of my mundane commute. You most of my drives are like this. No music, not many words. But the words... NSFW.
I bought this dash cam during one of the Kinja deals, $40 I think. Then a $50 Samsung 128G micro SD card for it. Since the equinox doesn’t shut the power outlets off when Car is off, it runs and records all the time.

I bought one for my wife’s van too, but it probably has mostly singing and today’s hits radio.

Couldn’t do it. Think I could handle the monotony, but I couldn’t handle all of the cars going faster. I don’t have any problem with people who want to drive around the speed limit, but I generally don’t, and it was somehow very unnerving to sit there getting passed by everyone. Kept wanting to change lanes and keep up with those guys on the left.

Honestly, we all want our commutes to be boring. Boring means safer.

I’ve driven that stretch of 70 more than almost any other piece of road. Shout out to Mid Rivers Mall.

Most days I’m with the people on the left passing everyone. But when I know I’m headed to a place like this, I’m not really that enthused to get to work that much faster.

My commute ranges from 20-60+ minutes, but I’d guess average is around 35. Just depends on where the job site is. But our office and warehouse is about 8 minuets from home and on the way to the highway.
Some coworkers live further than I do.

Me cursing that I forgot to stop at office on the way in for more paperwork.
This is my commute for the next couple weeks. I mentioned to facw I’m not enthusiastic about going into a hot attic with fiberglass everywhere. And this commute is closer than most, so getting on the highway at 6:15 instead of before 6, I’m still 20 minuets early. My mind goes into cruise control because the equinox doesn’t have it.
